From Telegram, we collect your Telegram ID, first name, last name, username, and profile photo. We do not currently support traditional email/password authentication.
- User Preferences: We store your chosen settings, such as your native language, target learning language, proficiency level, and interface language preferences.
B. Information Collected During Your Use of the Service
- Voice Data: SpeakyVoice processes temporary audio streams in real-time to facilitate conversations with our AI tutors. We DO NOT store your voice audio permanently. Voice streams are processed and then discarded.
- Conversation History: We store text transcripts of your conversations with the AI to provide chat history and progress tracking features.
- Usage Data: We collect data about how you interact with the Service, including session duration, minutes used, and the specific roleplay scenarios you participate in.
C. Payment Information
If you make purchases, your payment is processed by our third-party provider, PayPro Global. We do not collect or store your full credit card number or other sensitive payment data on our servers.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To provide, maintain, and improve the SpeakyVoice Service and AI tutoring experience.
- To process your voice input in real-time through the Google Gemini API to generate appropriate AI responses.

4. Data Storage and Security

- Database: Your text data and account information are stored securely on MongoDB Atlas, which is encrypted at rest.
- Retention: We retain your personal data and text transcripts for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. Voice audio is strictly temporary and not retained.
While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
5. Third-Party Services
We rely on several trusted third-party services to operate SpeakyVoice. We share data only as necessary for these services to function:
- Google Gemini API: Receives temporary voice streams and text to power the AI tutor intelligence.
- Google OAuth: Used for secure user authentication.
- Telegram Bot API: Used for authentication and sending you bot notifications related to your account.
- PayPro Global: Handles all payment processing. They collect your billing information securely in accordance with their own privacy policies.
- MongoDB Atlas: Hosts our encrypted database.
- Vercel: Provides web hosting and server infrastructure.
7. Children's Privacy
SpeakyVoice is not intended for use by children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 16 without verifiable parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.
